A LONGQUAN-STYLE CELADON-GLAZED PLATE WITH MOULDED THREE FISH DESIGN
A stunning Longquan-style celadon plate from the Song Dynasty, a period renowned for its refined ceramics and artistic excellence. Longquan kilns, located in the Zhejiang province, were particularly celebrated for their high-quality celadon wares. The central motif of three fish as a symbol of wealth is rendered with remarkable precision and fluidity. The celadon glaze, for which Longquan wares are so highly prized, envelops the plate in a lustrous sheen, its pale green hue reminiscent of jade.

Condition: Good condition with minor chips at the back of the plate near the foot rim exposing the celadon glaze. on the mouth rim and some surface abrasions consistent with age and handling. No major cracks or restorations are present.
